The Variegated dragon tree ‘Yellow Coast’ is a striking Dracaena with evergreen, broad leaves with bold stripes of vibrant green and golden yellow.
A beautiful houseplant and easy to care for, the Dragon Tree makes a neat compact plant that easily gives a tropical feel to wherever it is placed.
With its bushy crown of arching, wide leaves and decorative stems, this is a Dracaena that is worthy of a place in your home and will bring a bold splash of colour to any room.
Supplied as an established plant approx. 70-80cm tall including pot.
Care Information
- Water the plant only when the top 1 inch of soil is dry and then water it thoroughly with tepid water, however, never allow the base of the pot to sit in a saucer of water.
- Feed the plant with a liquid houseplant fertilizer every two weeks in spring and summer.
- Repot every two years into a pot one size larger until plants reach the desired height. After that, repot every three years into the same pot to refresh the soil.
- Control your plant’s height by cutting off the top if needed. The stem will look a bit bare for a while, but within a few weeks, new shoots will appear, and the leaves will regrow.
