Hollyhock Chater mix is primarily an outdoor plant that thrives in full sun. However, once bloomed, the flowers can be cut and displayed indoors for the perfect flower arrangement to boost serenity in your own home.
Care Information
- Plant in well drained fertile soil in sunny positions such as borders that are sheltered from strong winds
- Space the plants apart by at least 60cm to improve air circulation
- Plant in deep holes in the soil to ensure there is enough room for the roots
- Once planted, feed and water well until the plants are fully established
- In autumn cut back any dead flowers and apply compost to the base of the plant
- Hollyhocks are fairly hardy but to protect the roots further from colder temperatures, apply mulch
- New growth will appear in Spring
